To follow the worldwide success of George Romero’s Dawn of the dead, Lucio Fulci makes an Italian film about the living dead. Fulci returns to traditions and places his zombies in the Caribbean. Lots of splatter scenes, a bit of action and thriller, and luckily, a couple of nude actresses too.
Auretta Gay does a topless scuba dive. Olga Karlatos also ends up underwater, but that of the shower.
