With Benedetta, Paul Verhoeven gives us a modern nunsploitation with all the ingredients in the right place. It’s the story of Benedetta Carlini (Virginie Efira), who enters a Tuscan convent in the 17th century, while outside the plague is spreading and claiming victims. Within the walls of the convent Benedetta begins a love affair with Bartolomea (Daphne Patakia).
In the seventeenth minute, Daphne Patakia takes a shower behind a transparent curtain. A nun on the other side of the curtain douses her with a bucket of hot water. Twelve minutes later, Guilaine Londez plays a mature nun who removes her habit and shows us a beautiful full-frontal nude. Soon after, Virginie Efira looks at one breast in a mirror. Later, Virginie Efira undresses behind a curtain and shows her naked body to Daphne. Soon after, we admire Virginie Efira naked in a slightly blasphemous scene. In a vision, Benedetta removes her nightgown and approaches a man on the cross completely naked.
Twenty-one minutes later, there is a long and horny lesbian scene with Daphne Patakia and Virginie Efira. Five minutes later, Louise Chevillotte inflicts punishment on herself by whipping her back and showing her breasts. One minute later there is another lesbian scene with Daphne Patakia and Virginie Efira. Virginie is lying in bed and Daphne is masturbating her, but someone is spying on them. A few minutes later, Virginie Efira takes off her clothes, takes Daphne Patakia‘s hand and brings it between her legs to be masturbated. In a following scene, Alexia Chardard plays the role of a pregnant maid, who enters a room with an arousing cleavage, then pulls a breast out of her dress and sprays milk (the milk is CGI). Sixteen minutes later there is a full-frontal nude of Daphne Patakia tied to a torture table. Fortunately, we can see the nudity without watching the torture. We see Daphne Patakia and Virginie Efira again a few minutes from the end of the film.
