Ten stories, ten moments in time – 1972, 1999, 1550, 2083, 1891, 2012, 1618 – and one reality: the violence that defines relationships in Brazil. From the slave revolt on a coffee plantation to the kidnapping of an ambassador to a woman recognizing her torturer in the audience, each event shows a continuous cycle of oppression and struggle for freedom.
