Giulia (Loredana Cannata) leads a double life. By day she is a social worker, by night a femme fatale who picks up men for her own sexual pleasure. A guy falls in love with her and tries to win her over. La donna lupo (AKA The Man-Eater) is the first film in a trilogy that was never completed by Italian director Aurelio Grimaldi, who chronicled women’s emancipation with results that did not satisfy critics. The film caused a scandal because of some unsimulated sex scenes, such as a real fellatio by leading actress Loredana Cannata. In an interview, the actress recounts that she was told on the day of filming that it would not be a simulated scene. “(…) I was tense until the clapperboard! But then everything went smoothly (…).”
At the beginning of the film, just after the opening credits, Loredana Cannata performs a striptease in a black-and-white sequence. Seven minutes later Loredana arrives at night at the seashore wearing a bathrobe. When she takes it off she remains totally naked and goes for a swim. Immediately afterwards there is the famous blowjob scene. Loredana is leaning against a closet and wearing her bathrobe open at the front. She is talking to a guy who has just gotten out of the shower. She massages his penis still nestled under the towel, then releases it and kisses him. The scene is very horny but also very brief. Immediately afterwards the two have sex in bed. Five minutes later the actress plunges into the hot tub and shows us yet another beautiful nude. Seven minutes later Loredana Cannata sits on a lounge chair and undresses, starting with her hold-up stockings. When she is totally naked she jumps into a pool. It is night, but we can clearly see a man performing oral sex on her. Afterwards, she perches on the ladder and he takes her doggy style. The next morning Loredana is on the bed with a man. She is wearing only a T-shirt with nothing underneath. Ten minutes later Loredana sits on the bed and undresses. A naked guy smiles at her, slips on a condom, and has sex with her. In the next scene the actress has sex with a guy whose body is filled with rose petals. Three minutes later there is another sex scene. Loredana Cannata is lying on the bed and a guy is kissing her between her legs. Soon after, the two have sex and she is on top of him. Shortly after, it is back to black and white and Loredana is playing with a snake.
