The lives of two cheating spouses, a registered sex offender and a disgraced former police officer intersect in this film. The characters struggle to resist their vulnerabilities and temptations in suburban Massachusetts.
A long wait is needed, but in the fifty-fourth minute Kate Winslet has sex with a man. She is naked and sitting on a sink in the basement laundry room.
