Rare film, among the last non-porn films made by director Aristide Massaccesi. Almost everyone knows him by the pseudonym Joe D’Amato, but for this film he signs himself James Burke. Sul filo del rasoio is inspired by a number of erotic films, most notably Basic Instinct. The film is sadly unsuccessful, partly because in anticipation of a television run, the erotic aspect is reduced to the bare minimum.
At the beginning of the film Gala Orlova strips totally naked and slips into the bathtub. Two minutes later Gala washes once more, this time in the shower. Seventeen minutes later Susanna Bugatti has sex with a man while sitting on a sink. Twelve minutes later Gala Orlova has sex with a man. She lies on a table and he lifts her skirt to fuck her. Ten minutes later, Susanna Bugatti approaches a man wearing only lingerie and thigh-high stockings. A moment later the two are fucking doggy style. Eleven minutes later there is another sex scene. A man is lying in bed and Gala Orlova naked is standing over him. Thirteen minutes later, the actress gives us the last nude scene of the film.
