The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the second film adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s novel Män som hatar kvinnor, the first chapter of a trilogy. A Swedish film was also made from this novel two years earlier. Financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist has the opportunity to restore his severely compromised reputation by accepting the assignment from wealthy Swedish industrialist Henrik Vanger to solve the mystery of his niece’s murder. Working with him is a hacker under a legal ban (Rooney Mara).
At the fifty-fourth minute Rooney Mara is lying on a belly-bed. A man lifts her shirt and pulls off her trousers, then puts his face between her buttocks. Three minutes later, the actress undresses in a short sequence, then slips into the bathtub. Eighteen minutes later Rooney wakes up topless next to Elodie Yung, also topless. Twenty-two minutes later Rooney Mara reaches a man sitting on the edge of a bed, takes off her clothes and has sex with him. Thirty-four minutes later the actress is engaged in another sex scene with a man, shorter than the previous one. Ten minutes later Rooney emerges from the bathroom wearing a pair of panties, a white see-through bra and pantyhose.
