A Futile and Stupid Gesture tells the story of Doug Kenney, the creator of National Lampoon, the legendary satirical magazine that revolutionized American humor. The film chronicles Kenney’s life and explores the creation of cult works such as Animal House, the team’s first major cinematic success, which redefined comedy in the 1970s.
In the 27th minute, some screenshots of a photostory in which there are nude photos of Elvy pass on the screen. In the fiftieth minute Lauryn Morse wears a cheerleading uniform with nothing under her skirt. The actress spins around immortalized by photographers. The skirt goes up showing her bare ass.
