The head of a large engineering firm is a workaholic and neglects his beautiful young wife (Vivi Rau). To get some sexual relief his wife joins an escort service. All goes well until the escort service is hired to entertain clients of the husband’s engineering firm. Hopla på sengekanten (AKA Sexy Club) is the seventh in a series of eight Danish erotic comedies. The series begins with Mazurka på sengekanten in 1971, and all the films contain the Danish word sengekant (bedside) in the title.
In the sixteenth minute Vivi Rau is walking topless on the shoreline together with a man. The two chat and walk to a kiosk to get ice cream. Six minutes later Vivi and a man seclude themselves in a bathroom and have sex sitting on a toilet. Five minutes later, in the half-light, Kate Mundt undresses and approaches Vivi Rau. Immediately afterwards we witness a long lesbian sequence, unfortunately very dimly lit. Six minutes later Vivi Rau naked is sitting on the bed waiting for a man.
