After an absence of 25 years, ex-con Joris Fragnière returns to Horizonville, his hometown, to pay tribute to his recently deceased father. Here he finds himself in an explosive situation, with his childhood rival, Raymond Héritier, determined to take over the Fragnière family gas station.
