The second season of La trêve (The Break) takes place two years after the events of Heiderfeld: Peeters, now out of the police force, agrees to help a young farmer accused of murder. The investigation leads him into a web of family trauma, manipulation, and madness. Once again, as in the first season, the truth is hidden behind deceptive appearances.
